Convert MSG to PDF

Turn an Outlook .msg file into a PDF without Outlook. Select several .msg files to put them all in one PDF, each starting on a new page.

Runs in your browser. Your files never leave your device.

How to use it

  1. Choose a .msg file, or select several to convert them in one go.
  2. Check the preview and press “Save as PDF”. With several files, untick any you don't want first.
  3. In the print dialog, choose “Save as PDF” as the destination.

How to convert MSG to PDF without Outlook

In Outlook you would open the message, choose File > Print and pick a PDF printer. Without Outlook, on a Mac, a phone or a PC without Office, there's nothing to open the .msg file with.

This converter reads Outlook's format in your browser, shows the email with its formatting and inline images, and hands it to the browser's own PDF printer. The PDF has the subject, sender, recipients and date at the top, and the text stays selectable.

Batch convert MSG files to PDF

Select or drop many .msg files at once and they appear as a list, oldest first. Untick the ones you don't need, sort them, then save. Each email starts on a new page of the same PDF, which suits case files, audits and handing a thread to someone outside the company.

FAQ

Can I convert MSG to PDF with attachments?

The PDF holds the email itself, not the attached files. Attachments are listed under the preview, where you can download them one by one or all at once as a ZIP and keep them next to the PDF.

Is my .msg file uploaded?

No. The file is read and printed by your browser on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, so work emails stay where they are.

How many MSG files can go into one PDF?

Up to 500. For more, convert them in several rounds.

Can I convert MSG to PDF on a Mac?

Yes. Open this page in Safari or Chrome, drop the files on the box and save. In Safari's print dialog, the PDF button is at the bottom left.
