EML Tools

Convert EML to JPG

Turn a saved email into an image you can drop into a chat, a slide or a support ticket.

Runs in your browser. Your files never leave your device.

How to use it

  1. Choose your .eml file.
  2. Check the preview.
  3. Press “Download JPG”, or “Download PNG” for sharper text.

How the image is made

The email is laid out 800 pixels wide, the width most emails are designed for, and drawn at twice that resolution so text stays crisp on high-density screens. The header block with subject, sender and date is included at the top.

A long newsletter becomes one tall image. If an email is very long, the image is scaled down to stay within the size browsers can create.

JPG or PNG?

JPG files are smaller and fine for sharing. PNG is lossless, so small text and logos stay sharp; pick it if you'll zoom in or print the image.

FAQ

Why are some pictures missing from the image?

Pictures that load from the sender's server aren't drawn into the image; only images stored inside the email are. That also keeps the sender from seeing that you opened it.

Can I get one image per page?

No, the email becomes a single image. For a paged document, use EML to PDF.

Is my email uploaded?

No. The image is drawn by your browser on your device, and the file never leaves it.
