EML Tools

Convert EML to PDF, MSG, HTML, JPG or text

Drop an .eml file, check the preview, then pick the format you need. Each conversion runs on your device in a second or two.

Runs in your browser. Your files never leave your device.

How to use it

  1. Choose your .eml file, or an Outlook .msg file.
  2. Check the preview. If the email has remote images and you want them in the PDF or HTML, load them first.
  3. Pick PDF, MSG, HTML, JPG, PNG or TXT to download the converted file.

Which format should you pick?

PDF is the safe choice for records: it opens everywhere and looks the same on every screen. HTML keeps the email as a web page you can open in a browser, edit or publish. MSG turns it into an Outlook message, for Outlook users and for systems that only take Outlook files.

JPG and PNG turn the email into a picture for chats, slides and support tickets. PNG keeps small text sharper; JPG makes smaller files. TXT drops the formatting and keeps the words, which suits notes, search tools and spreadsheets.

An EML converter that doesn't upload your email

Most online converters send your file to their server, convert it there and delete it some hours later. This one does the conversion in your browser, so contracts, invoices and personal messages never leave your device.

FAQ

Can I convert Outlook .msg files too?

Yes. Drop a .msg file and the same formats are offered, except MSG. To turn a .msg file into an .eml file, use MSG to EML.

Are attachments converted?

PDF, HTML, images and text contain the email itself, and attachments are listed under the preview so you can download them as they are. An MSG file keeps the attachments inside it.

Can I convert several EML files at once?

Here, one at a time. EML to PDF combines several emails into one PDF, and EML to MSG converts a batch of files into a ZIP of .msg files.

Can I convert EML to CSV?

Not on this page. EML to CSV takes many .eml files at once and builds one spreadsheet with a row per email.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, in Safari or Chrome on iPhone and Android. Tap the box, pick the file from Files or Downloads, then choose a format.
