Convert EML to PDF

Turn a saved email into a PDF with the sender, date and subject at the top, ready to archive or share. Select several .eml files to put them all in one PDF.

Runs in your browser. Your files never leave your device.

How to use it

  1. Choose your .eml file, or select several to convert them together.
  2. Check the preview, then press “Save as PDF”. With several files, untick any you don't want first.
  3. In the print dialog, pick “Save as PDF” as the destination.

When you need an email as a PDF

PDFs are what courts, accountants and HR teams usually ask for: they open everywhere and can't be edited by accident. Saving an email as PDF keeps a copy that looks exactly like the message, with the headers that prove who sent it and when.

How to convert EML to PDF

With a mail app it takes two steps: open the .eml file in Outlook or Apple Mail, then print it and pick a PDF printer. That needs the app installed and set up, and Gmail has no way to open an .eml file saved on your computer.

Here the browser does both steps. It reads the file, shows you the email, and opens the print dialog with nothing but the email on the page, so no website menus end up in the PDF. Choose “Save as PDF” as the printer and you get a PDF you can search and copy text from.

Several EML files in one PDF

Select or drop many .eml files at once and they appear as a list, oldest first. Untick the ones you don't need, sort them by date if you like, and save. Each email starts on a new page, with its own header block, and one email's styling can't spill into the next.

FAQ

Are attachments included in the PDF?

The PDF contains the email itself. Attachments are listed under the preview so you can download them separately.

Why does it use the print dialog?

Your browser's built-in PDF printer keeps text selectable and the layout faithful, and it works without uploading the file anywhere.

How many emails can go into one PDF?

Up to 500. For more, convert them in several rounds.

Can I convert an Outlook .msg file to PDF?

Yes. Drop the .msg file on the box and save it as PDF the same way, or use MSG to PDF.
